CONTACT WITH EMPLOYERS

LEO-NET is in touch with employers directly, and indirectly via the (consortia) members. LEO-Net actively monitors labor market shifts and trends and regularly invites employers to events to foster dialogue and collaboration. We value their perspectives on internships and employability, as we strive to approach these matters from various angles.

Qualitative internship offers

LEO-NET values all learning experiences and Life Long Learning, fully recognizing the positive impact of qualitative traineeships on young people preparing for their professional careers. Work placements raise the trainee’s self-awareness and career thinking, while broadening their professional skills in a real-life working environment. International traineeships combine professional experience with challenging intercultural immersion offering life changing experiences that prepare youngsters for the future.

A helping hand in spreading high-quality internship opportunities

We motivate companies and organisations to offer learning opportunities. We offer employers free announcement opportunities for qualitative traineeships to students and young graduates, through our traineeship portal. LEO-NET is also happy to advise organisations and companies looking for trainees.

Contacting Foreign Chambers of Commerce may be also helpful for your students

There are a number of Foreign Chambers of Commerce present in every country.
It may be helpful to search the Chamber of Commerce of the country where the students are coming from, whether it is present in their internship destination country as well. Chambers can help students to connect with local companies – potential host organizations for their internships.

You can find several contacts on Foreign Chambers of Commerce in EU countries here: www.eurochambers.eu

Or simply “google” search for the particular Chamber in your country of interest.
