As announced before, after 3 years we will finally have a physical meeting again. For that we are happy to give you a preview about the content of our LEO-NET seminar, organized in the beautiful city of Ghent – Belgium on June 16-17, 2022.
- We will be welcoming the European Commission, DG Education, Youth, Sport & Culture / Unit higher Education for an update about the ERASMUS+ programme; speaker to be confirmed.
- Mrs. Magda Kirsch of Educonsult will speak about the results of an impact study about traineeships.
- Mrs. Elke van der Valk will give an insight on how hybrid learning environments can be used as a solution to tackle societal challenges in line with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
- SIHO (a support point for inclusive higher education in Flanders) will talk about inclusion in higher education with a focus on traineeships for students with a disability; speaker to be confirmed.
- Mrs. Rosalyn Eder of our member Paracelsus Medical University will lead a session about ‘Creating a Network for Traineeship in Medical and Health Sciences’
- Mrs. Fernanda of our member University of Porto will lead a sessions about ‘PhD Career Design Programme’
- Techno-philosopher Mr. Rens van der Vorst will present some answers given in his book ‘why do we always want to win of our navigation system’. The book is hilarious, sometimes bluntly, sometimes nuanced, sometimes absurd, sometimes confronting but always giving new insights about the role of technology in our lives.
